From a single work van to a name neighbours trust
Homestead Renovations started in 2011 when founder Marcus Devane — a carpenter who grew up on job sites — decided homeowners deserved a contractor who actually returns calls, sticks to the estimate, and treats a house like it's his own. The first jobs were kitchen and bath remodels; word spread quickly, for one simple reason: do the work right and stand behind it.
Today our carpenters, tilers, finishers and project managers have delivered more than 1,200 renovations across Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice and the neighboring communities. The company is bigger, but the habits are the same — we show up when we say we will, keep the site clean, and don't leave until it's done properly.
We're fully licensed and insured, and every project is backed by our 10-year written workmanship warranty — because the quality of a renovation should still be obvious long after the crew has packed up.

2014 — Building the crew
We bring carpentry, tile and finishing in-house and take on our first whole-home renovations.
2019 — A studio & a warranty
